Men, I need your point of view. (We agreed to chat via email first to get to know each other since his last relationship, he was hurt badly). I recently found out that he was in the hosptial of which I did not know until I rcv'd an email from him apologizing for the delay & that he'd been ill and in the hospital. All conversations were conducted by emails -- no phones or IM chat.

I write:"I wished I would have known so I could come up to the hospital and help you feel better and I'd be better at it than the nurses would be".

HE writes: "what would I have done to make him feel better", "the nurses did a pretty good job there".

I write: (trying not to get too suggestive (but concerned) since I hardly know him) .."Let's just say that there is nothing better than a personal touch especially when you're sick and in the hospital". At the same time, I am still interested in him.

Was I out of line? One says I should have responded like "bring you a teddy bear, etc.".

i think the "personal touch" sort of implies a "happy ending" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).it's fairly flirtatious.

No, he probably has AIDS anyway

Why would you meet someone online. There are too many psychos out there, you could end up getting chopped up

Don't get too emotional on letters because you don't know him yet. you have to 'meet' him first.
