Ok, so I was talking to my friend about, what else, boys!
Specifically, the fact that I've never had a guy ask me out, never had a guy my age be interested in me. I'm not hideous... I don't think I'm at all attractive, though...
5'5, Brown Hair, 115 lbs...
& more importantly, I'm actually a nice person. I'm caring, treat people with respect...
Older people know that I'm a sweet person, & can't figure out why I can't get a b/f...

Anyway, she said that the reason might be because I don't play hard to get. If I wanna talk to a guy, I try to. I'm shy sometimes, but I try to break out of that, & I'm not gonna go around ignoring people and playing headgames.

She said that that is all guys my age respond to, though. She claims that if I start ignoring a guy I like, and act all "mysterious," it'll make him come chasing after me.

Is that true? If so, why?
Why can't anyone appreciate a girl that is straighforward about the way she feels, and doesn't wanna mess with anyone's emotions?

I was grocery shopping earlier today and this man in a wheelchair was planted in the middle of the isle blatantly ignoring the people waiting to get around him. Being in a hurry, I slightly pushed him out of the way so people could get by as well as myself. He began yelling at me so did other shoppers in the isle. What is wrong with this guy? Just because he is in a wheelchair, he gets to inconvience everyone else? And what is wrong with the other able bodied customers? They wanted him out of the way just as much as I did then have the nerve to scold me?

Today I was at a store and I accidently bumped into a bunch of girls, but THEY kept apologizing over and over. I said it was my fault and they said. "no we don't want you to go ghettto and go off on us. Black girls are intimidating." Are you kidding me. People really think that?

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any national or local (PA) organizations or funding sources that would assist in making our home handicap accessible for our son? Our insurance is great, and covers his medical care, but they feel that home modifications are not medically necessary. We're not considered 'low' income, but are living paycheck to paycheck, so spending thousands on widening doorways, changing the bathroom so that we can actually turn around with him in our arms, and installing a ceiling lift because he's getting too heavy to lift is not an option for us. As it is, we can't even fit his wheelchair in his bedroom. I've already looked into all the Make A Wish type organizations, they are not willing to help with home modifications either. Any suggestions???

People get mugged everywhere in the world, but there seem to be different styles. In England, you get a bunch of coked-up hoodlums in sweat shirts who punch you in the face and kick you senseless while you're lying on the ground, then they take your wallet and mobile phone and run away. Here in New Zealand, it's just the odd, unprovoked attack, with some whacko punching someone for no apparent reason. What's it like in the US, in Canada, Ireland, Jamaica, Scotland, Wales, Malta, what have you?

Why are you a racist? Why do you see other people as inferior to yourself?

And to ex racists: what made you realise that racism is not worth it and wont get you anywhere? Did some one or something caused you to change your attitude?

You wake up and everyone is gone, or dead. First, I'd wonder for awhile why it happened.

I was going to say the "only living creature" but then what would we do about food?

I would steal cars and make my way to Cape Canaveral and see if they are any astronauts. If there were, I would hope at least one of them was a woman and they could make it down here safely. Ok, then I'd see if one of them was a scientist and they could gro a baby in vitro.

Otherwise, I'd try to make friends w/ animals or kill myself painlessly w/ stolen drugs. How about you?

Ok so here's the delio. Everyone eventually comes to terms with the topic of LIFE & DEATH. Not so long ago I indured a life changing event and I have questioned & pondered this crazy complicated thing we call: L.I.F.E.

Everyone has their own opinion about it there are NO RIGHT/WRONG answers. All we really know is we're born, we live the best way we know how & we die.

I want to see what people have to say about this topic.

Really, really, really, really, REALLY think about this even if you get a migraine!!! Whenever you have a few minutes

In yesterday's New York Times it was reported that for the first time in US History, there is a majority of unmarried women.

Some is by choice--some is by lack of opportunity--what's your opinion.

Just asking. Seems to be nothing but childish bickering rather than intelligent thought/communication.
