Today I was at a store and I accidently bumped into a bunch of girls, but THEY kept apologizing over and over. I said it was my fault and they said. "no we don't want you to go ghettto and go off on us. Black girls are intimidating." Are you kidding me. People really think that?

i don't think that at all! anyone can look intimidating, it just depends on how you present yourself i guess. :)

Keep in mind that most of my friends are either African American or of other ethnicity. I live in Philadelphia and I've learned the HARD way that when I accidentally bump into a black girl on the bus or someplace, I better say I'm sorry or I will get an ear load of trash talk. In my neighborhood, that's just the way it is.

That sure was rude of them to say! No, I wouldn't be intimidated just by someone's race. But, to be honest I would be intimidated if a person looked scary - like a big biker guy with tons of tatoo's. Not that it's right to judge a book by it's cover, even a tatooed biker can be a nice person, but I have to admit I'd be intimidated.

well obviously some very unenlightened people do think that and it is incredibly sad that they do. these girls are as misguided as they are stupid; plain and simple. trust me though not all people think that way. i have no idea what it's like to be a person of color, so i don't know that i could offer sounds advice but i'm sorry this happened to you. since i would like to say something, let me apologize for how these girls made you feel and say that you are the better person for at least trying to understand their motives. consider yourself lucky that you have much more intelligence than these bozos.

It was true for them. And some people are looking for Bigfoot and Atlantis or waiting for the Mother ship to land. The world is full of strange people that have strange ideas for no good reason. Don't let them bother you because it is not likely a widespread belief.

That bunch did.I'm not intimidated by black girls. Well if she was really cute,no ! I'm that way with all cute girls.I get tongue tied . Maybe you're so cute you intimidated them too!

i don't think this is true but in my school most black girls are intimidating but i can't believe those gurls would say that 2 u u c those things r probably wat make the gurls so pissed off!! but i don't think u should change urself just cuz a couple of gurls said that 2 u

No, they were probably being smartasses, or just not very bright, lol. I wouldn't really worry about it. Heck, I'm barely 5 ft, blonde and soft spoken and I have been told several times I am really intimidating, lol. Some people are just strange.
