I have seen/heard of questions being erased as being 'inappropriate. Tho' there is nothing inapproporiate about them, it is more what racists, ignorant and/or just plain dumb folk deem them to be or the answers the same give. This is the real world, not all puppies and kittie, or 'my boyfriend cheats' or gamer issues. Some of us actually would like to pose questions that mean something to us and the world in general. However, because of this site not being monitored by humans and merely by a computer program, it is too easy for a couple people to report abuse when they see a question they don't like and end up having it dumped from the site. So, the real question here is: Don't you think that this site would serve the community better by having certain moderators work the site to ensure that proper questions are being asked and that people who report viable questions for abuse be the ones that get the nasty little letters from Yahoo and eventually be booted for abuse? Just wondering...

I mean think about it. A lot of pro-life people will kill animals for food. They also tend to favor the death penalty. Then you have the pro-choice people. They are willing to kill an unborn child but yet feel the death penalty is wrong. Isn't all life the same? What are your thoughts?

Why do people ask stupid questions, completely butcher the English language, and spell like four year olds, and then report you for pointing that out to them with a sarcastic answer? It's just one answer in hundreds, and doesn't hurt anyone. Is the world just becoming that PC and hyper-sensitive, or am I really out of line here?

I want to join a sorority because i've heard that it is a really cool way to meet life long friends and have fun in college. But i'm afraid of hazing and dieing from it. When you get hazed, do you know what they are going to make you do and when you find out, do you have to do it? Oh, and is there any sorority that doesn't do any dangerous hazing? Maybe one that makes you sing a song in front of the school or something.

ok - i read on yahoo today that women can tell from guys faces if they have a hormonal tendency towards being fatherly types or macho men, and that women prefer to have flings with macho men but make husbands out of family guys. so unlike guys, who natural want to get with all women all the time to spread their genes, women have a natural tendency to want a different kind of guy at different times.

of course - in today's society you can't do both. but apparantly in the animal world monogomous animals lke birds, the females 'cheat' with hottie males and have make love to their normal males to keep the nest. in people, women are most likely to cheat when ovulating.

So what if society was built around at least some men getting many partners, other men getting steady sex, and women getting both the mates and flings with no regrets? Its science fiction, but imagine that disease prevention, birth control, and paternity testing eliminated the need for enforced monogamy. Women could commit to a guy for the long term, but still fulfill her desires when nature calls. Naturally, there would be a group of guys who got a lot of different women, and another group that got a steady stream of sex with one.

If you can put yourself in such a world, is it paradise or hell? Who is it best to be? Who is it worst to be? And what role would you most likely play, and why?

I posted what I thought was a serious (ish!) question yesterday and had a very strange reply accusing me of "trolling". As a old git I learned at infant school that trolls were dwarfs that lurked under bridges in old Scandinavia with a view to eating unwary travellers. Can anybody help me here? We did't have much in the forties and fifties, but we certainly didn't eat each other! Serious replies only please, and no trolling!
