i am sick off ppl staring at me (i know im good lookin but gosh)everytime i walk into a store im looked at like im goin to steal something (i have enough money to buy them G.D. stores)or me and some guyfriends walk behind a mother and little kid and she clutches him and starts walkin fast ahead

is that racism or something we (black ppl) have put in our heads to be racism?

Do you belive citizens should carry guns, here in youngstown some one is killed every day or every other day. there was just one a couple of hours ago. i think noone should carry guns but the police.

As part of a holiday 'project' i decided to ask a couple of questions being interested to know how much the 'average' American knew about Australia. With the exception of the obvious query as to if they knew the name of our Prime Minister, anything about our system of government (surely that comes under general knowledge?) i did not mention anything remotely political. I was totally UNinterested in the political aspect.Most people know all there is to know or indeed all they WANT to know about world politics. The subject matter is done to death, tediously repetitious bringing out those obsessively dedicated to a single ideology. I was simply curious as to the extent of American awareness of our common heritage plus comments on Australian geography, lifestyle etc. Was i a naive idiot !! What i copped was a tirade of accusations i.e we have a racist Prime Minister, ARE a racist people who neglect our aborigines etc etc.
NOW my FINAL question -- why are Americans so filled with hate?

My wife and I think the weather, oceans, people and predominantly English speaking country would be a tremendous place to settle down. However, since we are halfway across the globe and basically clueless about your land, any information about where to live,how much money one needs and basic living information would be appreciated. You know the door greeter when you enter the front entrance of most Walmart Stores? Has that person ever annoyed you? Today I was returning some crappy gift I got for Christmas and upon entering the door the greeter semi smiled and says to me "No happy face today huh?" I thought who in the H*** does he think he is? Trying to be some darn comedian..It's lucky I did not punch the guy...What a job..handing out smiley face stickers to little whinning kids and trying to BS us adults...

I was realllly drunk at my girlfriends house, we got into a minor little fight, so she didn't tell me but she left to get a carton of cigarettes. when I went around the house to look for her, I found her asleep in her sisters room, so i jumoped in bed and cuddled with her, we kissed and then had sex...it was defiantely different sex but I thought it was both cus we were drunk, when my girlfriend got home i was in the bathroom and she knocked and wanted to talk, I joked about earlier in her sisters room and when she didn't understand I bit my tongue and realized what I had done....i feel likeshit now though and her sister was talking to me today about how she wants to be with me, how on earth can i get out of this mess without totally screwing myself over

I want to know what people think of using the words "white" or "black" to describe someone. Some friends of mine find calling someone "black" is offensive while others feel it isn't. Is calling someone white less offensive or more offensive than calling someone "black"?

I read a news story that when James Brown died they kicked his common law wife out of the house and would not let her back on the property. They were not legally married and she has not been included in any of the ceremonies or tributes. She was White. Do you think this was racially motivated?

If not, then why is it that Americans are like this? As a Libertarian, I am apalled by the hipocracy of anti-smoking organizations, anti-obesity movements, anti-abortion protestors and even most vice laws. Was the Constitution not clearly defined enough? I mean, what do people care what other people do if it doesn't affect them?

What really bugs me is when people use words like "epidemic" in regards to obesity; "parent education" when it comes to parenting; or even "disease" for alcoholism. I'm sorry, but I was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy; I've never walked before in my life and THAT, my friend, is a disease.

Sorry, I just had to vent.
