well 1st you have to assume there is such a thing as (a) god. It would seem that quite a lot of people are quite willing to go further than to assume it for hypothesis but rather assert that it is true.
Then you would have to ignore what we (the scientific community) know about physics, astrophysics, genetics, geology, biology, paleoanthropology, history, chemistry, quantum mechanics and so on.
Now imagine (no need if you are religious, you already have a book where someone as done this for you) a fantastic and implausible story involving apples, talking snakes
and a 5000 year old boat that could carry atleast a pair of each of the 15 billion species that are known to have existed.
In that world you can assume what you like about (a) god and people.

It is a bloody loving God, and quite responsible one that will create, and claim to love all creation, yet did so knowing every evil act that would be committed.
BTW, I am Anglican, and have a LOT of differences with the traditional teachings of Christianity.

It depends on whether the mice have discovered the ultimate question yet. If not then I guess they'll have to go back to Magrathea and wake up Slartibartfast again.

of course not.
god created the faults on earth so that man can learn to adapt to and work with them.
the universe is only created once.
and after death we will be ressurected so that we can be judged. then it's either to HEAVEN or HELL.
good luck!!!

um God created us knowing that we would sin. He sent his son to die for our sins, so therefore Jesus was the "start over" that you speak of. When he returns the bible says there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
