The horseshoe shaped thing that girls wear around around their heads to keep hair back. Is it a headband or a hairband, or both?

I asked a question moments ago ( check out my asked questions) and people were offended by my opinion about the flag. They told be to "get educated" and "do my homework" They claim this flag is just a "sign of the South." It's a flag that's segregated..oops! I mean seperated from the rest of the nations flag(not to mention outdated, but not outlawed) Wasn't the Civil war based hugely on the desire of the south to eternalize slavery? Hmmm... that's not rascit! that's just a fight between the north and the south.HA HA! The same rednecks in question answered the question without first understanding it. I would like a poll of how people feel about the Flag, esp. African-Americans.

I believe that abstinence should be taught as the only way to 100% guarantee that you can stay away from STD's and pregnancy. It is the only proven method that is 100% effective.

Contraception is NOT 100%. It's NOT safe. Anything can still happen.

Teaching about contraception will just make teens want to have sex even more. I mean, think about it. It'll make them curious and will make them want to use what they learned. They may want to experiment to see if contraception really does work.

I think it's ridiculous teaching about contraception when you can just simply tell them to not have sex. It's like smoking... why would you teach about "light" cigarettes when you can just tell them to not smoke?

I would like to hear from others who agree with me.

Seriously, a guy in a cafe gave me two kilo's of sell-by date bacon for my dog. Well, he drank **** loads of water in a beer garden after he'd eaten it. Then he pissed like a horse in the back of the bus. Every time the bus braked it was getting nearer the front. I was getting ready to say this woman's little boy had done it. But instead, we got off before it started running down the steps and out the front.

my neighbors are playing loud music and it's almost 1 am. What can I do, besides call the police. I'm really afraid of retailation from them. It's some kind of stupid loud music that sounds like a tuba....and they keep playing the same song, over and over!!

I'm working part time to get through school for a degree in chem engineering. The people I work with seem to be all of the same caliber. Rude, loudmouthed, foul talking, cigarette sucking, vicious gossips! If I dare to get around any of them, they eye me suspiciously, so I try to avoid them to keep them from asking me rude and invasive questions.Last week I was placed beside one of them for a job assignment half the night. I tried to keep silent and keep my nose to the grindstone.But I could feel her eyeballing me. I dared to look up..and that triggered the 1st question "so, do you have kids?" That's always the question they first ask to get things rolling. Then its "are you married"...then "your not dating anyone?" "how old are you?" And finally the topper "have you ever even had sex?" Enough said.Obviously she's just gathering her gossip material on me.
So how do I deal? If I say anything like "its none of your business" I know I'll be putting myself in the gossip zone for sure.

I use low energy ligh bulbs, buy orgnaic as much as I can and will start using non bleached paper towels. I also am ver stircit about turing off lights that I am not using.

maybe if u black girls weren't so difficult and bitchy we would try. Also, we like the girls because of who they are, not because they're white. In general it seems that non-black girls have a better personality.

This seems to be the case in more times than not. Even depictions of them in movies, commercials, and picture ads seem this way, too. What do you think? I know it's not ALL smokers, but there seems to be a correlation. I work in customer service and 9 times out of 10, I can tell that someone smokes, just by the way they act impatient and aggravated.

Alright well this has been on my mind for quite some time... its in the time of the year where family becomes really important and stuff, but its like i dont even care. i dont feel the need to be around my family i rather hang out with my friend's family which is what i usually do but yeah its like i have not feeling towards my family no matter what they do its that really bad? =(

I mean like people cheers for a person for sometimes and suddently they hated him because some authority said something bad about them then every one just hated him...
Like Mel Gibson for example, he was so good like three years ago, i thought the passion of christ was...amazing...and years later every one hated him and refuse to watch his movie
and another example, micheal jackson, a godly musican and some kid stick up said he raped him then every one in the world hated him?
Is this the job that we do or god just made things this way??

Now that it's so easy to get photos into card form, why do people seem to think that it is so cute to put their "beautiful" children/pets/etc. on the front of the cards? Does anyone else find this "pat myself on the back" gesture nauseating? It's almost as annoying as the Christmas newsletter!
