my neighbors are playing loud music and it's almost 1 am. What can I do, besides call the police. I'm really afraid of retailation from them. It's some kind of stupid loud music that sounds like a tuba....and they keep playing the same song, over and over!!

Other then calling the police your only other option is to go over and politely tell them to STFU!!!!!! That would bring about more retalliation and probably get you @SS kicked. lol! I say call the police and TELL the POLICE you do not want them to repeat your name or phone number as you are afraid of retalliation. You have no other choice. They need to quit being rude and let you get some sleep!!!!!! Good luck! ;-)

Seriously, I've bn there, but u aren't the only neighbor r u? The call to the police would b anonymous, wouldn't it? Gosh, if u don't call what can u do but put ur head under a pillow?

Just politely ask them to turn down the music a bit. Also when police ask "partiers" to turn down the music they never say who asked other then a neighbor , they don't give out names. Even if the partiers asked I doubt the police would give them that information. So if you're worried that you might get caught "snitching" don't be.

maybe they are dead and the record changer is just playing the tune repeatedly???
seriously trying playing your own music to drown it out and be less sensitive to it since you dont want to mess with them.
if that doesnt work call the police but use an address like if you are 450 Main st. say 445 main st. which would be across the street OR tell the police you are frightened so PLEASE make sure not to mention who you are.... it is their responsibility to protect you and it is a non issue.

Well ! you could go over to your neighbors house and ring the door bell then run and hide in the bushes,or you can call the Police anonymously and placed a complaint,

If you want some sleep tonight....call the police.
Then when you call them, tell them that you are afraid of retaliation and don't want them to give out your name to
the ones you called about. Do you live in rental property?
Maybe you could call the landlord/property manager?

People who have no consideration for neighbors' rights to peace and quiet should be shot. That goes for barking dogs too. The dogs should be shot, then the owners. Now stick all the thumbs down up your @sses, turds.

Just ask the cops not to mention your name. It could be any neighbor, after all. Retaliation? What would they do? You have a right to quiet.

You can knock on their door and ask them to stop or call the police but ask them not to identify you as the caller.
