the girl who flirt with boys, go out with boys etc. we avoid our children mixing with her,thinking she is indecent.but otherhand the girl on screen she does everything from hugging, kissing etc. with so many male so y we r making differances

From your personal experience, either though residence or travel, tell me about life in Washington State. I have looked all over the State (online) at real estate and for employment and now wish to know more about the different areas.

Any information about the quality of life, physical environment, social aspects, culture, ect... would be great. Travel tips for my wife and I, great must see areas, would also be of great help.

It seems to me that most Chinese people regardless of their nationalities seem to put food first rather than other needs. Of course food is important, but the Chinese seem to put an extra not-really-neccesary importance to food. Why is this so?

This is not a racist question. I know not all Chinese people are like that, but the majority of them are. In fact, I myself have Chinese blood and I have relatives who are like that.

I had a vet bill from last April. The bill was $489.00. I paid $100.00 at the time of service. I didn'nt make another payment till aug. The bill is paided off now, but they had turned it over to a bill collecter in aug. I never delt with the collecter, sent my payments to the vet, Now the collection agency say's I owe them $220.00 plus. And they say it will continue to go up if not paid, I did sign a contract at the vet's office that I would be responsible for any cost if it goes to collection, but this sounds illigal. They say I will also have to pay for lawyer and court fee's if it goes to court. Thanks for any helpful answers. Jo

I'm a non smoker, and the smoking room is very close to me. bad enough the door is always open.... but now it seems the rules have really lapsed and people even smoke AT THEIR DESKS (its an open plan office - Boss included). I always stink of smoke - I hate it! I know I have rights, but I have just started this job - its an AWESOME job and I don't want to be hated or rock the boat - WHAT DO I DO???

I never thought I could get up in front of a classroom and talk, or talk before a room of my peers. I was tongue tied growing up. I stuttered and went to see a number of forgettable speech teachers. I hated it. My problem was emotional, not physical. The Marine Corps cured me of that. There is a gr a gr gr gr gr grenade coming! Actually I just out grew it. I never stutter and I can address an audience. What fear have you out grown?

I'm of mixed race. I came from a large city with a diverse population and have been living in a small town for the last four years and can't move for another year or two. I'm really tired of the insults directed towards my family, but mostly I'm tired of strangers getting in my face and asking "what are you" before even asking my name. I can't even go to the grocery store without someone walking over and asking and then walking away after I've answered. I think its dehumanizing and rude. I'm a person, i have a name. The last few years I've responded with, "why don't you guess" b/c its a playful way to make the inquisitor uncomfortable and 100% have been wrong in their guessing thus far. Sometimes I just don't have time for this so I need a new response. Anyone have an ideas? Something that isn't mean spirited (odds are I will run into some of these people again) but something that makes them realize they are being rude.

I'm not racist and I do not freely use these terms. But I wonder where people came up with them. Some just make no sense to me. I know some of them, such as WOP is "with out papers," but I have compiled a list of racial slurs to see if anyone knows where they came from. Please no rude comments I'm just curious.

This Christmas we'll spend over $50 billion on gifts and more than $24 billion on gift cards alone. It's estimated that it would only take $20 billion a year to work toward ending hunger. Could we change Christmas to make it really about love and help the more than 300 million kids that live in hunger and 16,000 a day that die from hunger related causes? I think we could but I wonder how.
