What's your biggest regret in life? Would you go back and change things if you could or would you leave it be and learn from your mistake?

Anybody who says they don't have any regrets is fibbing. You may not have massive ones that keep you awake at night but everybody has at least one thing they wish they hadn't done no matter how serious or trivial.

My daughter is in 7th grade and I am at home right now, so I'm available to pick her up, etc. Most of her friends have cell phones. I think it is a toy to most of them. I know the moms, who are mostly home also. I personally think parents today have a difficult time saying 'no' to their kids. She has asked several times for a phone, my husband and I have told her we'll consider it when she starts to drive. We don't believe our kids need every trendy gismo given to them, they need to understand the meaning of working for things they want and waiting to earn them. What is your experience with your kids or parents? :)

Years ago It somehow come up in a conversation I was having with a friend that he stands up to wipe his butt. Everyone in my family considered this to be very gross and definetly the improper way to wipe. We started asking dozens of other friends and eventually found a few others who stand to wipe. The standers seemed to have one thing in common: They came from disfuntional homes. This can't be a coincidence. So, my question is: Does anyone out there stand to wipe? And if so, do you come from a disfuntional home?

I have always wondered why people get certain piercings done.
I have my ear pierced I got it done because I thought it would look good, it was a sign of me taking control of my own choices (no one else could make me do it but me) , Rebellion, its different and makes me a little more unique.
Why did you get yours? Im very interested to hear from people with alternative piercings (eye brows, tongue, back, privates etc) and multiple piercings.

Same for firefighters etc. I don't mean crowbars, but do they have special keys or what? If there's an outside door, an apartment door and a room door, are they really going to break them all?

If I mail something via USPS (letter only) and know everything except the number of the address, will it still arrive? It is for a client of mine whose address I was never given. I found out her info all except the house number (actually she lives in a small trailer park)
Do you think it'll still get to her?

I propose this question because I’m an African American man in Colorado Springs, and considering the vast discrepancy of African Americans’ to other races, you are faced with the notion of interracial dating. I’m open to these possibilities. However, there seems to be an overall resistance, and negative reaction to serious relationships between specifically blacks and other races in this city. I’ve talked to other black males and even other non-white ethnicities that all seem to express a similar level of frustration. Some pushed to the point to ignore other ethnicities (in the dating sense) aside from their own to avoid dismissal and disappointment.

Anyone experienced this? I’ve experienced this since I was a teen to here at young adult hood (25yrs). Does anyone share a common opinion, a contradictory one? Why? A background for me is I’m from up north, epically if you think of where I came from in relation to the question I’ve asked here, it sucks.
