I propose this question because I’m an African American man in Colorado Springs, and considering the vast discrepancy of African Americans’ to other races, you are faced with the notion of interracial dating. I’m open to these possibilities. However, there seems to be an overall resistance, and negative reaction to serious relationships between specifically blacks and other races in this city. I’ve talked to other black males and even other non-white ethnicities that all seem to express a similar level of frustration. Some pushed to the point to ignore other ethnicities (in the dating sense) aside from their own to avoid dismissal and disappointment.
Anyone experienced this? I’ve experienced this since I was a teen to here at young adult hood (25yrs). Does anyone share a common opinion, a contradictory one? Why? A background for me is I’m from up north, epically if you think of where I came from in relation to the question I’ve asked here, it sucks.

The Midwest is probably the last place, unfortunately, that's open to interracial dating. The most accepting place by far is California. Try Los Angeles County, there are many neighborhoods that are more open. It's a completely different ballpark.

The percentage of inter-racial couples has essentially remained the same for the entire history of the US and there is evidence that it has remained stable a hell of alot longer than that. They are relatively rare, probably for biological reasons, not sociological ones. The reason I say that is, today, nobody really cares about these couples, where 200 years ago, there was incredible discrimination against them. Yet, the percentage holds constant. It is extremely unlikely that lack of tolerance is the reason behind not being able to find a date where you live.
That's both good and bad news. The bad news is, if you want to date a girl of a different race, it will be alot harder to find one who likes you. But, the good news is, those girls are everywhere, in every place in the country and nobody is going to care about it. If you want more dates, move somewhere more black people live. If you want a white girlfriend, it doesn't matter where you live, you will simply have to look harder. It's not a big deal unless you make it one.

Montclair, New Jersey! It has been on 20/20 that Montclair, NJ is the highest rated integrated city in the entire United States. I'm 20 minutes away from there and I can testify to it! And it not just Black men dating White Women. There is a lot of White men dating Black Women! It's very colorful you should visit sometimes! I personally don't mind because I to have swirled on several occassions. Not a biggy to me!

I truthfully have a matching adventure. i'm woman and that i'm Married. My husband has a gay buddy that stay in a huge assets. we frequently visit him and "being" buddies. I tolerate gay people when you consider that I met him because of the fact he's great as a guy or woman. yet getting nearer as we get greater he coach the affection to my husband. he's around 50's. And me and my husband taken care of him like a family contributors buddy. yet i won't be able to tolerate he's being delicate to my husband. exceedingly whilst he grabbed my husband's penis and stuff!! I informed him that don't love him doing that. in my opinion, each and every time he did that he mentioned "Oops sorry won't be able to help it because of the fact i'm gay". Me and my husband already informed him that we don't love that yet he seems does not care what i think by ability of doing such issues. Now my nerves already as much as my head and that i could not stand it anymore to tolerate it. Am I being too delicate or is this a kind of harrasment coated by ability of friendship?
