You have to know within yourself.

Arrogance is usually a constant need to prove yourself and expecting all others to take a back seat to your thoughts.

Confidence on the other hand is knowing our abilities but always understanding that there will always be someone better, and sometimes others ideas and thoughts are better than our own.
Those who walk in confidence never need to prove they're right.

Others may perceive you either way, unintentionally, that is not important. You answer to and for your own conscience.

ignorance + arrogance = stupidity
ignorance + confidence = naivete
awareness + arrogance = hindrance
awareness +confidence = dominance

Simply put, the difference is in how one's attitude relates to his brains. Arrogance typically can't be objectively verified on an empirical level, but if a person is being more aggressive than he can afford (either because he doesn't KNOW what he's up against or because he's a reckless risk seeker) then he's arrogant. This doesn't mean that a person is confident though if he honestly believes in himself. Arrogance is best gauged from an outsider's perspective, but as an individual, arrogance can only be recognized in one's self once HE becomes uncomfortable with how his decisions affect other's opinions.

Arrogance-the need to feel, act or think you are better than anyone, better things etc.. confident-who cares what everyone else is doing, you are your own person and don't need all the other stuff.

self assurance is extra inner. it would nicely be obvious that someone has self assurance - posture, demeanor, tone, etc., yet that individual does not want to shout it from the rooftops. A constructive individual usually is attentive to the position to attraction to the line. vanity, on the different hand, is extra exterior, a glance-at-me variety of habit that maximum persons would discover stressful extremely than relaxing, yet does not be referred to as such through the guy in question. An boastful individual oftentimes does not have self assurance there's a line that would practice to them.
