Do you think that it is discrimination for an employer to terminate an employee for smoking cigarettes, after all people who smoke are human beings too. Just like if, someone were to get fired because of race or religion it is considered to be discriminatory (because they are human beings).

Why when I come to the logical conclusion that my life is unimportant and living it is a chore rather than a pleasure do I find myself feeling like I just have to carry on? Perhaps instinct over-rides logic, or is it that I actually enjoy life, but convince myself I don't?

I'm pretty sure they are not. My experience tells me that some customers are just plain rude and crude even if you're trying to be nice to them. I'm a young person who works at retail as a part time job and then go to school. I always encounter extremely rude and loud customers who will DO ANYTHING to get what they want. Some customers even want the employees to break rules (for example: give discounts) for them.

I don't fall for it though, I tell them no when I know for sure that they are wrong. I don't try to appease them. And when you say NO to them, they either get mad, or say something insulting to you.
