Visit your local lodge. They are in the phone book & also probably have an ad in the local paper. The lodge I attended had a big sign that lit up at night. They are not hard to find - Google up the statewide Masonic org in your state - they have a list of every lodge.

Find a lodge in your area. Their phone numbers are in the yellow pages under Fraternal Organizations. Call the lodge and ask for a petition. Or if you want more information, ask to meet with one of the members. If no one answers the local phone, contact the Grand Lodge of your state or province. The full-time secretary there will be glad to help you. You must be a man of good character who believes in a Supreme Being (any one will do).

It involves roling up one trouser leg and exposing a nipple. I kid you not.
I wouldnt, once your in, you cant get out. If youre doing it for the perks that come with "masonic handshakes" thats fair enough i surpose. But if youre doing it for secret knowledge, dont waste your time, you wont get over the 3rd degree. Mushroom Masons I call em.
Just read "The Secret in the Bible" by Tony Bushby if you want the secret of the 33rd degree.
Follow it up with "The Stairway to Heaven" and
"The Wars of Gods and Men"

for further details.
Its much cheaper than paying masonic fees, and getting no where.

MY SUGGESTION WOULD BE NOT TO JOIN THE FREEMASONS. DO A LOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. THEY ARE A SECRET SOCIETY WITH MANY STRANGE CEREMONIES.
AS FAR AS JOINING THEM, YOU HAVE TO BE INVITED BY ONE.
