Help, she is driving me nuts. She was living with a married man, and he went back to his wife. She is in denial that he obviously loves this woman and wants to keep his family intact. All she talks about is him. No matter what the conversation. I have told her yes, he said he loved you but he is in love with his wife. In fact I have gotten downright nasty to her trying to jolt her into a reality check, i.e. telling her he IS sleeping with her, stop calling him he obviously does not want to speak to you or he would call. We have all been hurt , but life goes on and i can not get it through her thick skull. Even his mother has talked to her and said get on with your life, although she says she said to wait, which i know she did not , so HELP before i jump out of the chair and choke her.

I love any music that has a good beat, but am I the only one who thinks that Most, not all, Rap DOES need to be regulated, even at the cost of freedom of speech. It seems some rappers and their songs go beyound the limits. I would rather my kids see a nipple slip at the super bowl then listen to the garbage thats avaible to them now on the radio.

For the record, I listen to Country, Rock, Metal, Classical, New Age, Mowtown, Blues, and Folk. So I am not just griping about a music based on age or race.

They were sick of the taxes etc, now look at us, we are taxed to death and just a political as England!! We can gamble but only if it's the STATES LOTTERY! we can buy Cigerettes or alcohol but ONLY if PAYING the STATE TAX! what would the State and country do if we tried to make our own new country seperate from them? attack us with their military?

Race, body size/image, sexual preference, religion etc. All inflammatory subjects and yet I don't remember the last time I was able to have a proper grown up conversation on any of these subjects without it turning into an argument. Either through my oversensitivity or the person I'm talking to. I've read loads of questions on this Yahoo! Answers site and I see the same thing over and over again. Is it ignorance? Are we just getting aggressive as a defence when we don't know all of the answers? When are we going to start accepting that people will not always agree with what we say? That sometimes, we're wrong.

i feel like i am partly a five year old and pratly a forty year old trapped in a sixteen year olds body, and it is really unfortunate.right now, i need help with my forty year old side.
my friend since kindergarden has grown into the typical american teen(partying,materialistic, must be a size two to be beautiful blah blah blah) and i just don't have fun, feel comfortable around her, or like i can relate to her anymore. i don't want to lose her friendship because she has always been a part of my life and i know eventually she will grow out of this, but until then, i don't know what to do with her! does anyone have any ideas on how i can sustain our friendship through this stage of our lives??
