Society as a whole seem to always be on the lookout for something to be offended by these days. The truth is, most people are not able to discuss these things openly or intelligently. It used to be said there are two things you should never talk about: Religion and politics. Well, sadly that list has grown ten fold.

I know what you mean, I believe that religion (or what you believe about your God/Gods/Profits etc.) is entirely up you.I am willing to respect your beliefs, if you respect that mine may be different. This doesn't mean that I hate you or you God/Gods/Profits etc.), just that I think a liitle differently. I am still willing to be your friend. As for colour of skin... well I never judge a book by it's colour. Some of my good friends over the years have been from various 'ethic backgrounds', one of them vehemently insisted that he was in fact 'black', that was his choice. I am disabled, but I don't want to be judge for that I want to be judge for who I am. I think that attitude should encompass all races, creeds, etc. I felt upset when those Asian boys were asked to get of the plane, because people were frightened of them. I think some people these days are too quick to judge and judge people. like those boys, just because one Asian does some thing bad, society assumes all Asians are evil. That's wrong! Hitler started a war, he was white, therefore are all white people evil? It works both ways! Source for goose and gander.... I say vive la difference, the world would be a dull place if we were all the same, I enjoy being surrounded by people with different ideas, it makes life more interesting.

It's funny what you said that because a few days ago I asked a question about why people are so sensitives and rude...I do customer service and I am very positive, a total gentleman, and always inform myself on the things customers need to know, but no way some people are so rude and ignorant. I think is ignorance. anyway, the answers I got were even more ignorant than I thought. people said things like maybe you need to be happier and nicer. I give up. I don't Even look at peoples face anymore. its no way to have a good talk with no one no more.

I wonder sometimes, if some of us don't get on here to blow off steam or vent frustrations.
There are many sincere and needing guidance
questions.
Some of us are just light hearted and looking to make someone laugh.
Some are sad and need a kind word of confidence.
There are so many personalities, and all together, we make a good mix of people.
But, we don't necessarily stop and think and use good judgment when we answer.

well thats the problem, in an argument people have been known to be wrong. and if you go finding an argument, well. but if you come asking sensable questions, and dont get too hot headed because people arent telling you what you want to hear, then there is no argument. besides, there are millions of people out there and they have all been raised with different beliefs and religions. no one will ever tell you what you want to hear fact of life. besides, it is so hard to tell if someone is typing in a pissed off tone of voice so whos to say there angry? you might interpret what i type as being angry, but im not.

When we get rid of our pride and learn that its all about Jesus, then we will get rid of our sensativity. God put us on this earth to serve him, not ourselves. He put us hear to worship him, not the things of this world or our own creation. None of us is perfect, but we sure act like it. None of our opinions account for anything with God, but we sure act like it. Nothing that we do will survive the end of the world, but we sure act as if it will. We think that we are important, but we are not. Jesus and only Jesus is important. There is only one thing that can even approach the importance of Jesus Christ and that is our acceptance of him as our Lord and Savior. Our own countrymen are trying to destroy us and they are known as the media. The news media is so hate-driven, fear-driven and so anti-Christian that the enemies of American are having the bridges of conquest built for them by the very people they intend to conquer. The sensativity that you refer to involves what people perceive as their personal rights, and when those rights are stepped on they howl; yet, in a move of hypocracy they totally disregard to personal space of others. It is time that we surrender our personal rights and our personal agendas and unite under the banner of Jesus Christ. He is the only person that can save us from eternal death and he is the only person that can save this country from falling into the hands of our enemies, and thus being reduced to a third-world nation. May God save us all.

it's not a matter of right or worng- it's simply a matter of what we as people can accept as somebody's opinion/argument. Some people may never stop being ignorant.
