I'm curious, as I'm getting some hints that this may be the case. The last thing in the world I want to do is hurt, offend or alienate anyone.

Well...I'm getting a lot of bad ratings for some really innocuous answers...read the right way I realize my "tone" could be mistaken....I'm just trying to be aware and keep things fun!

What of it, if you were. No intonation or visual para verbals are manifest in this medium. Therefore what is perceived by the respondent is filtered by their experiences. They place the tone in their frame of reference. You most assuredly can not control that. Enjoy yourself, others are able to make up their own minds; right or wrong; you could be in a constant state of Grace and someone would find something wrong with that if they so elected. If your intent is good, then look not over your shoulder. If your intent is less so, well that you do know; and may adjust as you see fit. I think your very funny myself. Yet again, this is a perception; my own. Only you know your own heart. Well, till your in love at any rate. I myself wouldn't want to hurt peoples feelings; I'm sure that it must happen at some level upon occasions. Oh, the price of humour. I bear this burden well though, absolving myself of sin isn't the predominate concern. Pure of heart and a bent for mischief, now that's where I'm at, let the day begin!

This is an anonymous posting place. I wouldn't worry about what others think. Some people have an easily bruised ego or they want to be the moral police and can get upset over anything that they perceive is insulting. It is good to offend people on here. :)
