Could the "prison industry" be viewed as a social program of sorts for the economically disadvantaged areas where the government places them. Afterall, they do employ people and require intensive services like food, laundry supplies etc.

My bf (English) and I (Taiwanese) are getting engaged in the UK. I am currently on a student visa. After we get engaged, do I have to apply for a different type of visa? If so, to which Home Office (in the UK or in Taiwan) should I apply for the visa? We have checked UK home office website, but cannot find relevant info.
I'd appreciate if someone can help. Thanks a lot!

I am not happy with my country at all. I probably feel the same way most people do about America and Americans. We say we are a free country, but we have so many laws we can hardly do anything without breaking one. I'm curious what you think.

I have been at work since 9am (its now 5:15 here) I have been checking my yahoo mail box like every 10 mminutes to see if I have received an email. Am I borderline nutjob, or is it that my job is just dull.

I am a 21 year old law student and proud to be virgin! Why do guys I know ask me out on a date (I always demand we go dutch) and then say they want to hook-up? And I say you have all your life to be hooked to another person! Why now in college? And why you?

It's like working! I'm not about to work in college! I have all my life to do that! Why now? Why not depend on my parents for another couple of years?

Does it just seems silly to anyone else that in order to show affection you have to touch some of the most unsanitary places on another's body? Why the lips? Can't we just wiggle our noses on top of each other or touch ears? I hate holding hands! (I can walk myself you know) I don't know what those perverts have been doing!

I have studied some pornography and think sex is disgusting. Don't people realize they urinate out of those places? At least bring a kleenex with you if you are sexually active! And why do they get naked? I can hardly get naked in front of my mother!

It doesn't seem natural for me. I just don't have that long of an attention span. But if I found someone I really liked, then I would fight my nature. Just as it's not naturall for me not to freak out and kill people sometimes. If I just did what was natural, I'd have probably been in prison a long time ago. As would a lot of people. But ****, I guesse I'm wrong according to some people. Cuz stuff that isn't natural, is wrong. Plastic is evil too. lol.

Please i want an honest answer i have been addicted by PORN for almost 4 months, its getting really BAD i have been looking at all kind of PORN ON NET, i mean the EXTREME PORN where there is no censoring. when I Started watching porn later only i found out that i could manstrubate with it. What is the logic of saying " Oh, it's different, it must be wrong. " ?
