Sort of an old Ally McBeal thing. What is the song you play in your head to get the engine going and attack the day? Does it change or is there a favourite 'Booyeah!' song you have?

most of them young men and women.

Don't you think it creepy that someone asking for help here could get up from their PC walk accross to the bathroom, reach into the cabinet and slice their wrists.
Their chalk-white body found days later by a curious relative.

Scares me, I almost want to have a go at them for putting so much pressure on strangers.
But still, everyone needs help.

We dated for a month before she broke up with me 4 months ago, she said she wasn’t ready for an emotional relationship and she wanted us to be just friends. I was attached to her and I really couldn’t see myself being her friend and watch her go out with other guys, it was going to be too painful for me because I loved her, so I decided to cut off contact with her so that I can get over her. It has now been 2 months since we last spoke and I miss her, clearly time didn’t make me get over her because I still love her and I feel this urge to talk to her again to find out how she feels, but I think she’ll be angry with me for ignoring her.

What should I do, should I call her and ask her how she is, how she feels and how she’s doing or shouldn’t I?

If you had choices of making good money but working too much and being more stressed because of the physical and emotional stress, or making less and only having enough to survive, but being happy and able to have more time for yourself. What would you choose?

In response to missnikid's "German Tosser Qusetion" ("why are German people downright rude and ignorant...?"), it might be equally worth asking why the English people (from the German perspective) are obsessed with 1966 and WW2 ("we won the war", forgetting the Russians and Americans of course), and are prone to violent and drunken bouts of hooliganism...

Actually another ridiculous question of course - yet another national stereotype!

Isn't it closer to the truth that the Germans and the English are rather more similar than most of us would care to admit? which some of us find difficult to accept?

I write as an Englishman with half English, half German background.

If the person or people that I'm researching was in the Indian Removal of the 1800s, where exactly do I look to find out where they came from?
I know the area of states, but they have all of these lists that Indian Affairs put together, and I don't know where to look?
What should I do?
Contact the closest Indian Reservation Office and hope that they can tell me what I need to do?

Would you approach them about it? What would you say? I'm asking because one time my roomate angrily remarked to me: "Do you know that you have a loud chew?"

I took that as a message to never eat anything around him anymore.

For all intents and purposes, normality is not always seen the same way by everyone.Much like morality, normality is often defined by society and/or those whom you surround yourself with and/or your personal beliefs.

But, really, what is normal? How can we define normal when normal for us may not be normal for someone else?Do you believe your normal is the only normal?Do you think someone else might see you as abnormal?

How do you define normal?

Now that the most of my heartache is over (and although it's been 8 months and I still miss him a lot) I've followed some advice about keeping myself preoccupied and meeting new friends and going out and having fun and all that... When does the heartache really just go away and not think of him?

Also - I've got so many male friends (girls seem to be quite cautious of me and some find me intimidating) I am currently the only girl in a group of 5/6 guys? I feel so OUT sometimes? How can I keep this from happening????? Why are girls so 'carefull' of me? I know I am quite attractive but that doesn't mean I can't be a friend?!!!

Somebody HELP ME PLEASE?

I ask this because in society it is often accepted as normal for two heterosexual women to hold hands and nothing is said because if they are friends then no big deal.Right? So why is it ok for them to do it but two heterosexual men doing it would be seen as "gay" or "weird"?Now I know that chances are that if two men were holding hands they are in fact gay.But why is that? And when did society get so hung up on how humanity interacts with each other based on what sex you are?
