Personally, I believe in things that go bump in the night
and I believe in ghosts
and spongebob squarepants
and leprechauns
and evil toe eaters
and the stork that brings babies

...and i think that's about it! oh wait!!!

and gummy bears that eat people! man those things are scary! it gives me shivers!

My 22 month old son has gone to his fathers today to stay over night(we are no longer together) so am having a Bridget Jones sort of day.Intended to be doing my cleaning ,scrubbing the stairs that kind of thing but really can't be arsed so instead am eating pringles and dip,chocolate cookies and hot chocolate with marshmallows,listening to Alanis Morrisette with my duvet wrapped round me whilst the housework is undone kind of wallowing.Is this about as cliched as it gets?Or is this good use of "me" time?

Uneducated numbnuts, who get pregnant at the age of 11, end up on the doll (state benefit)....they don't encourage their children to achieve anything in life. They turn out to be criminals but the governments send them to Disneyland because they had a 'hard upbringing'...they know no consequences so they carry on behaving like Neanderthals. I'm fed-up of seeing people like that everywhere I go, is there no-one left with any pride?....your thoughts please....

I know you're as young as you feel but sometimes it really hits "gee I feel old" For me it was when some 20something at work refered to the Rolling Stones as "some old guys that my Dad listens to". Anything really hit you like that?

How can we learn about people who are different from ourselves? How can I tell when a particular thing I hear is a BS stereotype, a statistical fact for which there may be complex explanations, or "just a part of our culture?"

It doesn't matter, whether you are white, black, hispanic or oriental, we are all derived from a common ancestor. Instead, why don't we use the word community to distinguish us. It's less emotionally charged. Humanity must realise that we shouldn't label different groups of people as if they are aliens!!!

The only reason why we look different on the outside is because of the environmental changes we experienced when we left Africa. Can't people grasp that SIMPLE concept!!

we should not be judged by the clothes we wear. (yet clothes make the man)
we may be judged by the beliefs we hold. (we hold them to be self-evident, or we wear them every sunday)
we are almost always judged by the company we keep. fair or not?
