The whole point of this life I thought was to make the best of it. Perhaps if we all tried to do what was best for one another life might sort itself out. Folks will tell you to turn to faith, to find new friends, to move and get a change of scenery; the thing about those solutions is they can not work. They may actually help to allow you to do the one thing that needs to take place for your faith to come back; they can help you to change your outlook. The one downfall we have as a group is the belief that others can make us feel good about ourselves, only YOU can make YOU feel good. Choose the path that you know will embrace how you feel people should act; then, above all, ignore the fact that others will do or not do as you are. Do it for the love of us all. Leave wondering if it changes others out of your mind.

Become involved in voluntary work for the less fortunate. Let it put you in touch with the basics of life and reap the satisfaction of helping others.
You've just started a new career so it may seem difficult, but the amount of time you can devote to this is not the issue. Just spare a few hours a week, if possible, and see how it will affect your outlook.

Well Laura, what caused you to lose your faith in humanity? Dealing with the source could be the starting point.
Focus on God first, and hold on to only a few of your real friends who help you stay focused on the really important things in life could help.
Avoid all people who hurt you or put you down. Be yourself.
Good luck.

Talk to a child. They are the wisest most honest people you'll meet. For one hour, talk with them on any subject they bring up. Remember that ability to see around obstacles, play when you're upset, and think that tomorrow is so far away that it doesn't matter today. For one hour, remember that we all start out whole, but we let the world break us apart. Then you'll have recieved a small part of yourself back. Do this exersize enough times and soon you'll be whole again!

Humanity is a lost cause. Place your faith in Jesus---he will never fail you. Humanity cannot get you to heaven and cannot give you eternal life and cannot fulfill your dreams---Jesus can do all this and more. Jesus loves you.

Go do something nice for someone else. You will be amazed at what happens when you stop concentrating on yourself and start trying to see how much you can give as opposed to how much you can take.
