If you had choices of making good money but working too much and being more stressed because of the physical and emotional stress, or making less and only having enough to survive, but being happy and able to have more time for yourself. What would you choose?

Enough to live each day a little at a time. Ever heard of the poem about what money can't buy?.
Money can buy a house but not home .
Money can buy food but not appetite .
Money can buy a bed but not sleep .
Money can buy a book but not knowledge .
Money can buy a clock but not time .
Money can buy medicine but not health .
Money can buy position but not respect .
Money can buy blood but not life .
Money can buy sex but not love .
Money can buy insurance but not safety .
MONEY CAN'T BUY EVERYTHING. A HUMAN'S DETERMINATION CAN.

I think I would choose to make the good money. I have struggled all my life to make it, raising two kids on my own, making minimum wage. So bring on the stress!! Because nothing is more stressful than not having enough to pay your bills and put food on the table for your children.

Totally working less. Because eventually u would have a break down at the high paying job and then they would find someone else to fill your position while you are in some mental hospital or something. I'd rather be of sound mind and body at the end of each day.

I wish I could make less, have less stress, and lead a life of happiness. But, gotta pay them bills somehow.

being 100% honest. I'd take just enough to survive cause then i'd have time to enjoy life and the wonderful woman i took as my wife. ;) Good question

from experience...survive and be happy. i was earning almost double but i was a stress ball! constantly under pressure and constantly ill. what kind of quality of life is that??? I have not regreted my decision once.

Second option. Life is meant to be enjoyed. What is money if there is less time to enjoy it? What is money if health is sacrificed? Money is meant to be a tool, not a god.
