If the girl makes just as much money ( assuming this is a family situation and there is no maid ), can she then dont dress the kid, nor cook dinner, or vaccuum the carpet or do the laundry?
Money may be the backbone of a household but sharing of the good and bad with each member of the family is the Flesh and Blood. Try teaching the child how important hard work and understanding is if the parent isnt doing it at all... it would be like a smoker puffing away like a locomotive telling young smokers how bad smokingis for the healtha nd why they shouldnt do it.
A Household is much much more than just dollars and cents

It depends. If I move in with or marry this guy do I keep my full-time job AND do all of the household chores by myself? If so, it's not okay. On the other hand, if he's supporting me so the household becomes my full-time job, it's okay.

Absolutely not! I make good money, I'm a guy, but I wouldn't dream of allowing my partner to take care of the housework by herself. There's somethings around the house that are men's jobs, like opening jars, catching spiders, stirring paint...

If he makes pretty good money, then he can afford to hire a maid. This way no one has to do household chores.

U mean like if he was married and works but doesn't fix the sink or take out the trash? If its just fixing the sinking or something that really requires some manual labor like that I think you could just hire someone to fix it. But if you mean like taking out the trash or washing dishes. To me thats not acceptable, because in taking care of a house and family, you need to do chores and stuff, so that stuff doesn't pile up on ya like that.

not in my opinion. but whatever works in your household could be different. but if your don't pick up slack around the house and it causes probs...come to a different agreement. I work full time and clean house. my husband works part time and does the cooking. (cept I cook on weekends) We have two children. This is what works for us.

Sure! Especially if he's making good money he can employ someone to do all his household chores for him :-)

Depends on if I get all your money for doing the housework, and if I have to work as well.

Is it okay for what? To date? To marry? Is it socially acceptable? You're not making this clear.
