why is it that when l try do find the right girl-friend (girl that is a friend) i always end up putting more into the relationship then the other person i am the kind of person that will listen to your problems and try to be the bestfriend ever but when it's time for them to be friends they just want to talk about them and they don'y seem to care about your problems and your feelings................

The males in our society tend to be rather impulsive and commit all sorts of crimes and stupid things. Among the most shameful, to me, are "online predators", discrimation (against "imperfect" people, including women) and rape.

For that I am ashamed, because I am classified under "male", which is the same category as those people above. Almost everytime when I am filling out a survey and have to mark my gender, these thoughts come to mind. Now just to be clear, I am not gay, nor am I some innocent 9 year old kid. I am 18 years of age, and my hormones are running wild. Even then, these hormones aren't helping me realise what goes on in the minds of these sex-starved people. What think? And are you ashamed as well?

When I think about the real world, many times, the fittest do not survive. Factors like accidents and dumb luck are ignored.

In fact, many of the theories about selective breeding, etc, especially about how mates are chosen because of their ability to survive, blah blah, I think ignore too many real-world factors that are too complicated to factor. For example, you might say that women marry pro athletes or rich businessmen so their children will be successful, but look at how many fail to live up to expectations. Prince Fielder and Luke Walton are exceptions, but what about Michael Jordan's kids?

I think it's all about randomness and luck. Boiling life down to equations and predetermined outcomes will never work. That's my theory.

I'm in a place i've never been before ("All aboard the Paranoia Express!")....I mean, life suddenly feels....weird...surreal.....like... things are really, really winding up. I'm sensing that just like during the Holocaust, things are going to get horrific, and they are going to get horrific very quickly. With all this stuff in the Middle East, I'm thinking it's the end times, just like the Bible laid it out. Anyone else have a creepy feeling about all this? Tell me I'm nuts. Please!

I for one think the majority of our society has no balls. We've become spineless, gutless wastes in a cesspool of political correctness. We're so afraid of offending someone that we no longer have the stomach to do what we need to do to defend ourselves and stand up to our enemies. We are also being crippled by our own cowardly media. It's put up or shut up time in my opinion.

Ok, I am in girl scouts. And this summer was the summer when we were suposed to go on our senior trip. Well the leader just happend to pick a week, that I had college summer class finals and was unable to go. She said that was the only week they could they could find a hotel..( in Dallas, Texas) i mean come on tell me theres more than one hotel in Dallas. anyways... now they are saying that since I didn't go with them, that i don't get the money that i earned. ( which was around $650) they (the leaders of my troop) are saying that since girl scouts is whatever it is, they can't give me the money b/c of tax reasons. and that i could donate the rest when they got back, if their was any left. so i was wondering what yall thought...

My cousin's dad died, and i was wondering if you know how i could comfort her...She is 9 and i am not particularly good at affection or comfort.
