I'm not sure if it will ever be legalized, but I'm sure at some point it will be decriminalized. Most police agree that arresting people for marijuana does nothing to help society. If anything, they should get a ticket at most, or maybe be asked to go to rehab. My personal beliefs are that people should be able to do whatever the hell they'd like to do so long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of other citizens. Pot smoking does absolutely nothing near infringing on the rights of other citizens (Maybe in public, but hey-smoking in your own home is illegal as well. A bit stupid, if you ask me).
