I'm in a place i've never been before ("All aboard the Paranoia Express!")....I mean, life suddenly feels....weird...surreal.....like... things are really, really winding up. I'm sensing that just like during the Holocaust, things are going to get horrific, and they are going to get horrific very quickly. With all this stuff in the Middle East, I'm thinking it's the end times, just like the Bible laid it out. Anyone else have a creepy feeling about all this? Tell me I'm nuts. Please!

You're nuts. Sorry, I don't believe it. Not one bit.

Are things getting worse or are we just hearing more? Think about it, wars, poverty, natural disasters, hatred and negativity have been happening since the dawn of time but CNN wasn't there to give us up the the minute reports. Watch the news anytime, what percentage of it is positive (good news) and what percentage is negative (bad news)? Do we hear about all the wonderful things going on in the world today? Never! We only hear about the bad things. Does the news talk about the love of a family, the helping hand of a neighbor extended to someone in need, or the everyday miracles we all experience? Not much and if they do it's considered "fluff" and no one wants to report it. It's time to turn off the TV, put down the newspaper and take time to find out how beautiful our lives truly are. You will find that when you tune out the negative you will seem less threatened.

Just as a side note, I am a flight attendant, I work the US to London trip each week. I could cower in a corner worried about the next terrorist plot or I can go to work, head held high and greet our passengers with the warmth and kindness they deserve. It has to be a choice and mine is to spread the positive.

No one knows for sure when the world is going to end. People have been saying this for years and have found stuff in the Bible to support their theory. I don't really believe some of the stuff the Bible says, (I try to be good without the threat of hell) so some of that stuff is irrelevant to me. But try not to worry about it and live life. We might be here for a very long time or not. Besides, if you have been good and faithful to your faith, then you should have nothing to worry about.

No, you're not the only one thinking this. The weather is strange, the econony seems to be on a decline (housing & autos, and more), and the various 'holy' wars we are fighting aren't going to go away in the near future. All is can say is: "Live today as if it will be your last". This isn't pessimistic - it's optimistic. Don't wait to take a trip you've always wanted to do...tell everyone you love them...we NEVER know how long we're meant to be on this earth. Perhaps there will never be an 'end' to earth...but while we're here...let's enjoy it.

You're a little overboard, but not nuts. A little healthy paranoia keeps you alive. We are in the infancy of WWIII. The world survived the last two, it will survive this one. The free world has ended the attempts of two would be dictators, we will win again.

Yes, you are correct, and not even that but the national disasters are coming more and more frequently. Like as in months apart?
But I refuse to be paranoid about it, because it has all been foretold in the bible, and those that believe in God, shall have everlasting life.

I agree. I think Armageddon is upon us. In my opinion, and I am opinionated, it's too late to make up for what our society has done to one another. This is a new Sodom and Gomorrah in our midst. Repent and you shall be saved.
