life long residents, yes in some ways, speach patterns, relaxed lifestyle in west more uptight back east, more of a heritage thing back east. but in truth its very minor.

Yes I think so, just as I think there is a difference between people from south and people from the north, and people from the Upper West Side of Manhattan and people from the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Yeah...a big one. The east coasters go to work in the middle of my night. And then they go to bed while I am just getting home from work.
But I'll bet that isn't what you meant.
I have noticed some differences in culture and the speed of life. West coasters seem to be more leisurely and don't yell as much in public. And the food is a bit different too.

Not much...only the level of typical humidity...Which is so awful in the east much of the summer..ugh...
