Why do some people think.............?

Why do people think because you speak-spanish you are Hispanic?Why do people think because you or your parents were born in a latin country you think you are Hispanic/Spanish the heritage/race?Please answer these because i wanna know what you think,because all that stuff isn't true

I just got back from a trip to the "South" (think Georgia and surrounding states) and I have some questions

Wow! Very different! Actually I have a lot of questions, but I'll just ask a few. Is it possible that people say "Y'all" even when they are talking to one person? (I kept looking around for others but there was only me) Please forgive my ignorance on this one, but is the confederate flag basically racist?--I just noticed that a lot of folks who had them seemed to be ah, "narrow minded" about the color of people's skin. What does it mean when something goes "cattywampus"?

Do you ever think about your ancestors?

Not just parents, grandparent, etc. But WAY back.

How far back can you trace? Have you done research?

It's odd sometimes to think that each of us had relatives living and trying to make their way 500 or 1,000 years ago.

I met and remember one grandmother and one great grandmother. Who do you remember?

Any other thoughts?

What would you say to this person?

I parked my car at a proper parking lot while fetching my girl at a school near Bukit Timah. When I was going back home, there is a big jam as people left their vehicle on yellow lines. It came a time where 2 ways were completely jammed up, and almost for about 5 minutes.. This man from the opposite lane came out to check why. I thought it was an accident. So, i just wind down my window to ask: "What really happened?" His answer was.. "What happened? It's people lah... People like you jamming up the road!" --- What would you say to him?

What value do you give to life?

In these wacky times we now live in, I wonder what value is given to life.

The leadership we live under doesn't seem to value the lives of innocent people.

I don't see where the administration is overly concerned over lives being lost in skirmishes.

I don't see where life is protected enough or cherished as it should be in many public places, and particularly on the open road.

What ideas can you come up with that would put life on a pedestal
and be adored rather than degraded?

let's say there are two people of your opposite sex
one is your own race, and the other one is not
they're equally attractive
you don't know their personalities cause you've never talked with them before
so who would you pick to talk with first?

how come when I ask a question that isn't a serious or thought provoking question, people take offense?

I like to be funny--If i had my way, it would be my middle name. I like to ask questions here because it's funny to read people's reactions to your questions. But if I am askiung an obviously stipid question like "hey, does Jesus wear nike?", should people take offense or just laugh or should they pick at your avatar just because you have style and know your colors?

Whe do most men keep the tap running (wasting water) while shaving?

If every man in America just turned the tap on and off when shaving we could save atleast 3 gallons per person. Multiply that with say 40 million shavers. That is 120 million gallons of drinking water down the drain everyday. What do you guys think?
