I'm NOT talking about the soul...I'm talking about above or below ground burial, cremation, at sea...chapel service...graveside service...etc.

Me? I don't care. Burn , biodegrate, or sliced and diced. Makes no difference to me. ( Though I am an organ donor.)

These are lyrics fron a John Prine song titled "Please don't bury me." for the rest see site below.

Please don't bury me
Down in that cold cold ground
No, I'd druther have "em" cut me up
And pass me all around
Throw my brain in a hurricane
And the blind can have my eyes
And the deaf can take both of my ears
If they don't mind the size
Give my stomach to Milwaukee
If they run out of beer
Put my socks in a cedar box
Just get "em" out of here
Venus de Milo can have my arms
Look out! I've got your nose
Sell my heart to the junkman
And give my love to Rose

I think burial is a waste of space. Just look at your average cemetery. I plan on donating whatever organs and tissues can be used, or if I'm too old for that, send the remains to a med school for anatomy class.

As far as a service, let my survivors throw a party in my memory.

ooh yeah I care. I am so scared that if I am buried underground that bugs will eat my body I really hate bugs. So that is my dilema do I get buried or cremated or what.......??? It s hard to decide but it is better i guess to decide before you die because someone will make the decision after you are gone and it may not be what you wanted but then again maybe we won't even know after were dead what is happening here on earth right???

Nope, being a Hindu, I don't think the body has anything to do with you as a person,(beyond physical identity). So if my body were to be eaten, or burned,(I should be cremated anyway), it wouldn't be horrible. Now if someone were to deliberately show disrespect to me, through showing disrespect to my body, that would be a different matter.

My wife and I share different opinions, she wish that her body be donated, cremated. I wish to be in the ground complete and whole.

I'd like a Viking's Burial...where my body is placed on a raft made of wood and twigs....once I am pushed out.....loved ones cast flaming arrows until my raft catches fire. ( I guess there would need an accelerant of some kind needed too)

I'm donating all my organs

after that, I don't care what happens to my body

but I wouldn't want my family to spend a lot of money burying what's left.....

so whatever's the cheapest method of disposal is good for me!

I have no desire to be buried underground so I am being cremated. I will then request that my ashes be spread in my favourite vacation spot.

If I can afford it when I'm older, I want to have my body frozen, because if there is the slightest possiblility of me returning in a thousand years I would like to see what it was like.

I want to be cremated and go home with my loved ones. I hate cemetaries.
