My son died suddenly of Meningitis at age 20, just before his 21st birthday.
When he went to hospital, they wouldn't let me back in while they were trying to help him.
How I wish I had insisted, gone in and held his hand and told him how much I loved him, before he died. I am crying now, just thinking about it, 4 years later. I will always cry about this.

That is what I'd like to change.

The world is a big open place and to me there are too many possibilities in it to spend time regretting what is already done. But the things I have never been able to stop regretting are the times when I've thoughtlessly said or done something that hurt someone. I don't think about it much. but when I do, the regret is there as strong as ever. The good thing about this is that I'm a lot more careful than I once was, because I can have a quick temper and a sharp tongue.

I have many regrets in my life. Things I've done that have hurt others. But I don't think I would change anything really because it took everything I've been through to make me the person I am today, and I like who I am now.

'Giving away' my virginity too early and to the wrong person.

For those of you who are still a virgin, please carefully consider it before you have sex for the first time and make sure you're totally & honestly happy to give away your virginity to whoever you are about to.

Another regret I have is not actually telling a previous employer to call the Police when he 'threatening' to call the Police after some money went missing during a days work somewhere. I was totally innocent and should have told him to call them then he'd have egg on his face. I ended up loosing that job anyway.

Good question.

:-)

It was not spending more time with my mom while she was alive. If I could change it I would spend every minute that I could with her. I would be sure to tell her everyday how much she meant to me and I would not take anything she did for granted. I would do everything in my power to make her proud of me always and try not to hurt her in any way. I guess I would basically be the best daughter that I could be.

I would have put a nappy on my little girl before she sat down on the sofa this evening - she's potty training and was too tired to remember in time. Can't change it - just got to wash everything.
