let's say there are two people of your opposite sex
one is your own race, and the other one is not
they're equally attractive
you don't know their personalities cause you've never talked with them before
so who would you pick to talk with first?
if both of them look at you with interests..

I think it would depend on their facial expression. If they looked friendly and open to being talked to.
