She used her friends into taking her around the world because they really thought that she had 6 months to live. She claimed she had radiation and chemotherapy and dialysis treatments all on the same day and the hospital didn't even keep her overnight. All the while she was working out and tanning while saying she was going to the hospital. This was just sickening to me when I saw it on Dateline the other night.

I'm trying to go to school, but by the looks of things, i cannot renew my scholarship, no co-signer, no loans, so i cant pay for school. I just left my job, looking for another one. I'm supposed to leave Aug. 18th to another state, but no money, no place to stay. I dont think staying at home is for me because i'm uncomfortable there [cant get along witih mother (cant even say "good morning without it being something")]. So i'm thinking i'm about to be homeless in about 2 weeks. What to do?

whenever iam in front of people in the street, i always check myself if my clothing is alright, if my hair is alright..and even if i go to a near shop, i wear jeans. if i go with shorts or casual wear, i get nervous that people are going to stare at me. how can i overcome this?

I did yesterday and most replies were that I am a homophobe. They don't know me! Aren't they being judgemental...another quality gays despise in straight folks?

1. What will it take to curb the violence in Oakland, CA. Why is a town so close to so many well-known towns in such dire circumstances regarding education, crime, vitality. 2. Specifically related to Oakland's economy, why aren't big business moving into Oakland (specifically downtown)? There are no major players. No Chili's, family restuarant chains, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc... things you would expect to see in an urban area of that size. .. Does anyone have any intelectual thoughts on this? Thanks
