Sometimes when I'm in the car and I'm really hot and the AC is blowing on me, I start to feel sick, but that might just be my motion sickness. But yeah I know how you feel. If you have to be somewhere air conditioned, like riding in the car, turn the vents away from you. The other people will be thankful because they get more cold air, and you won't feel so sick.

Um, if you actually feel ill when the a/c is running, you may want to call a technician out to check it out and make sure it's properly vented, because if it's not, you could actually die from the exhaust.

Air conditioners can grow a mold in them if they aren't cleaned often enough. Perhaps that's what makes you sick.

I couldn't live without it, but you may need your filters replaced and spray some Lysol on all of your vents weekly.
