Absolutely. Some people freqently ask pointed questions for no purpose other than to discredit God and christianity. Most of these are relatively easy to refute, and I answer them because at least they address real facts.

Others are so hateful and unintelligent that they do a pretty good job of discrediting themselves. I just leave those alone. Why mess with a good thing?

Yes. If it's just offensive, I'll usually take the opportunity to tell the asker what I think, but if it's outright sick, I won't give the small mind who asked it the satisfaction of answering.

I sometimes feel duty bound to answer just to try to make the asker feel bad. Sadly the planet has more than its fair share of twats, furthermore I believe the askers to be sad lonley social failures, and this is their way of getting attention.
