why do people say african american. I mean if someone were to say german-american they would look at you like just call me white but you ahouldn't say that casue its rude. it is rude that is racist in a way. Its like saying they are still not real american because they are part african. My heritage is Nicaraguan Costa Rican and mor but they don't call me Nicaraguan-Costa rican american???

While it isn’t eloquently articulated, it is very insightful.
If we look at Feral children who have been left with dogs in there formative years we can see that a child will adapt to any environment where love and nurture exists. In western society there is all kinds of abuse of children sexual emotional and physical. When a child is born it doesn’t come with a label that tells us how to nurture and care for it to bring it to its highest potential. We just see it as ours and in some cases merely a property, owned by the parents. I believe the thuglife theory is telling us that children can be easily changed , detrimentally affected by firstly our primary carer and our environments negativity. We are very sensitive beings right from the start and I don’t think we realise just how sensitive to negativity children are, they can sense negativity and hate and fear before they can speak.

Recentely McDonald's announced that it would be issuing out thousands of dollars to help people who are obese. Since I need some money I was just wondering what can I do to become obese. There are numerous Christian charities that help people regardless of their religion or culture, such as Christian Aid and Cafod. The Islamic charities I have heard of only seem to give aid to muslims. I have never heard of any that do not discriminate. If anyone knows of any, please name them. If there aren't any, I would like to know why?

Why is it that in most countries people care for their seniors, taking care of them and sacrificing for them till their dieing day, but in America we throw out our seniors as soon as they seem to be unable to function anymore? We put them into "homes" that basically strips them of their rights, tells them what to do, when to do it, how to do it. We pay top dollar to put our seniors in these homes, where they most often get worse. They develop illnesses that they probably would not have if not for these "homes" like bed sores and incontinence. And a lot of them are abused, physically and emotionally. Is this the right way to treat these people, would YOU want to be treated like this when you are old and "useless"?

I know that there are people who can't take no for an answer.

In my opinion, people should sometimes(not always) take no for an answer. These people need to understand that others have their own limits, especially emergencies.

I think that saying no is very useful because it frees oneself from a lot of stress, overcommittment, anger, frustration, sadness, guilt, and regret. I mean saying "no" in a polite and non-offensive way.

My question is....
Why won't they accept "no"?

If you were a female going to prison would you be better off in a male prison?
I herd that if a female would go to a all male prision she would be safer than going to a female prision because the prisioner's kill any rapists so they wouldn't do that sort of thing
