I liked some aspects and disliked others. I visited one in France a couple summers ago.
I liked:
Everyone had to be completely honest about their body- no push-up bras or baggy shorts.
Everyone was OK. I had expected something like the beaches of Brazil, where ittybitty bikinis are worn for shock value, but was pleasantly surprised at how relaxed and non-sexual the atmosphere was.
I disliked:
I was raised by parents who thought nudity was something evil, and I always subconsciously am embarrassed by it.
Getting sunburned in places that had never seen the sun before.

I been to several nude beaches and resorts. I enjoy being nude as much as possible. Like others answering it's great because what you see is what it is. No hiding. At first the only time that I felt uncomfortable was being naked in the presence of older kids and young teens. Maybe it was my up bringing that made me feel guilty. I now look at it if they were raised nudists there is nothing wrong with it. How much more natural can it be being raised where clothes doesn't make the person.

"Yes" , in the 70s, my girlfriends & I found a "Nudist" beach, out in San Pedro, Ca........Called, "Blacks-Cove", and the first time we went there, it was very "strange to all of Us", and the only thing my one friend & I had the courage to take off was our bathing suit tops...Our friends got mad at us, and left....Then a couple times later, we were out there, playing frisbee bare naked with the guys.........But, we felt so sorry for the guys, that had too run after the frisbees, it seemed like it was hurting them, so we made sure to do our best to be good at it, so they wouldn't have to chase the "Frisbee's" anymore, you know........However, we both eventually outgrew that faze, and quit going all together..It was alot of fun, however!!! Thanx for the "Flashback!"

its good to see that not everyone has a "perfect" body and thats ok. it helps people have a more realistic opinion of themselves instead of comparing themself to an airbrushed picture in a magazine of someone whith plastic surgery or loads of makeup
