Really, I think the world is *almost* just as it should be. Man's thirst for blood and war and progress--love it, think we couldn't get along with out it. People's insane drive to be the best, to make other people bow to them, to succeed and knock all the competition out of the water, whatever it takes--also a necessity, and totally understandable if we're to get anything done. Stupid as it can be, I think politics makes perfect sense--all the bantering, the subtle threatening, the little games world powers play with one another, the greed everyone shows... well of course! We all want to be the best, we're all out for ourselves. I think it's natural and necessary, funny and wonderful in a way. The thing I would change is intelligence. I would like everyone to have a greater thirst for knowledge. Sure, there will always be rulers and there will always be people who need to be led, but do they have to be so stupid and oblivious, and unknowing and uncaring that they are that way? NO. If everyone was educated, if everyone had a stronger drive or was given lessons on how to think for themselves, the world would be a greater and more exciting place, and fewer idiots would be in power, and it wouldn't mess up the ruler-people balance because some people are natural leaders and others natural followers. I just wish the heard were totally educated, interested, engaged. I would like a world where that was true, but that's not possible because the masses don't seem to give a damn about independent thought. (Also, in this world where everyone is at least marginally intelligent and free-thinking, religion wouldn't be the clumsy beast it is; it might be something great).

First thing, im not the kind of guy that totally wants the whole world to change. The one thing I know is that when I die, I will change, and Everything around me will change. The world is the world, but heaven is perfect.

Here is the biggest problem in the world today...
If one person has a sense of superiority over another because of their race, we call it racism and it is seen as the evil that it is. Unfortunately, we tolerate exactly that sense of superiority among almost all of the world's major religions. We don't even have a term like racism to describe this sense of religious superiority. We should call it "religionism."
The entire Mideast mess has it's roots in this "religionism." Christianity, Islam and Judaism all suffer from this affliction. To make matters worse, they all have conflicting prophecies concerning the same piece of ground, Jerusalem.
Possession of Jerusalem is seen as fulfilling the prophecies of the Jews AND the Arabs, so they are in direct conflict. Since each side sees this as confirmation of their core religion, what they each believe to be the "One True" religion, each refuses to accept compromise and fights savagely for their prophecies.
Christianity is not an impartial observer in this conflict either, as the possession of Jerusalem by the Jews and the rebuilding of the Temple are seen as a direct fulfillment of prophecies in the Book of Revalations.
If mankind could accomplish a consciousness shift concerning "religionism" in the same manner it did concerning racism, "religionists" were held in the same contempt as racists, and mankind based it's relationship to the Devine on personal experience rather than holy books there could be hope for lasting peace.
After all, our path is not the only path, it is just another path.

I would get rid of all guns (even toy ones), for obvious reasons.
Once they had some utility, like hunting and stuff, but now I think they're only useful to hurt people.
Those kind of things have no place in this world.

I would tweak the human psyche so that we are all more inclined to make decisions for the greater good. I believe this would reduce our tendancy toward greed and shameless self-promotion, and possibly pave the way for real action to be taken regarding the problems of poverty, violence, and destruction in our natural and social worlds.

No more wars. Then we would all be able to concentrate on helping people instead e.g. homeless, diseased or starving people. Too much precious time is wasted on wars and fighting and hatred in the world. It sucks!

I would get rid of hatred and give everyone the love of Jesus....... not make everyone love Jesus, that's different, but show everyone how much Jesus loved them.... then maybe people would see that God is love. And people would be so much nicer and tolerant of others, and not so much war and hate would be prevalent in the world.
