I read a newsarticle about this, and really didnt many awnser's so I wanna know what people think.

The goverment sanctions gambling because they can make $$$ from it(lotteries)

They say a woman has the right to do what she wants with her body...

Then why am i NOT allowed to decide what DRUGS are right for me, if I can puke my guts out, and die from alcohol poisoning(67% of Americans drink to get DRUNK), and cigarettes are on a level with HEROIN(US Surgeon general).

The war on drugs? Why is no one going after the biggest drug pushers of the 21st century...Phizer, Bayer, Merck, etc, etc.

Am I crazy here?

I have been friends with an ex boyfriend for 16 years. He is a bit of a slut and that's why we broke up in the first place. Somehow we remained friends and hang out a lot together on the weekends. My current boyfriend is a bartender so I look for ways to entertian myself. Lately I've been bringing my sister to hang out with us and I never minded the little flirting that they did (it was always kind of a joke between all of us). It was agreed that my ex would never sleep with my siblings (to me, that's just wrong-like kissing cousins). Granted, I was dating my ex 8 years ago-I feel that siblings shouldn't sleep with their sibling's exes. All of my other friends don't seem to thin this is a big deal. I'm wondering the way I feel is wrong. It's put a huge rift in our friendship. There are other issues we're dealing with (he hates my new boyfriend). Someone help. I feel like I've lost a good friend-or have I?

My ambition is to rule the world. They wouldn't let her use it because it might " hurt some one's feelings". What's wrong with that? It's honest. Doesn't everyone, at some point, want to be in charge? And why stifle a 12 year old's ambitions!?

BTW, they found her second answer: To be a poker playing chef in Vegas much more acceptable.
I say, why settle?

im getting sick of people being racist to one another on yahoo answers. either they respect each other or they close yahoo answer. you people need to get a life! I mean haven’t your parents teach you about racism and how it is wrong? the people that do talk about how they hate black people and how they hate white people need to stop now!! Your just causing problems and making people hate each other more! I feel sorry for the dumbass parents that raised you. i know your getting tierd of stuff like this but your going to hear alot more if it dosent stop.

I am Iranian and people tell me I should be proud of that fact but I see so many fellow Iranians around in the USA..and they just want me to keep away, many are racist, superficial, materialistic, and VERY Close minded..they think being persian is the **** and they should own the world cuz they did 1000 years ago........everyones tellin me I should maintain my culture and my people but its hard when your people put you to shame this way..anyone been through something similar or have advice?
