I think because when you Google you only get weblinks, when you ask a question here you get other peoples opinions and points of view.

Lots of people keep asking that question. Many people do not know how to use a search engine properly. Search engines do not always give people the answers they are looking for. People come here because you get to interact with lots of people and have them help you find the answer you're looking for. Having 15 or 50 people look for the answer to a question is much more effective than just one person doing it. Not to mention the people that know the answer to questions off the top of their heads, which saves a lot of time.
