when i was younger my mum believes a woman i talked to in (who wasnt there) was a ghost, now im back at my parents house we think she's reappeared..its quite strange..should i ignore it?

I came downstairs to my bedroom as I was changing my son's clothes I heard a scratching above me I look up and there sitting on the wall hanger was a sparrow, my husband and I tried to calmly get it out, finally it got so mad it was bouncing off the wall, my husband got it by trying to stun it and it knocked the bird out he thought that he hurt it's wing he put it outside and after awhile flew away. I've heard stories of birds in the house as an omen to death I was just wondering what this could mean espically if it got hurt. Noone came in or out my basement doors from the outside all day and it's closed off from the other parts of the house so I have no idea how the bird even got in.

(Adapted from my reverse speech question) I think, from everything you can do on a computer, it all adds up. It must be a tool of the devil, no? A person can be "seduced by the devil" by viewing porn, a person can sometimes hear satanic messages when playing audio backwards (using Audacity or Sound Recorder), and you can do all kinds of illegal things on it. Has technology really gotten this bad? I know they can be used for hundreds of good deeds and many other things to make work easier, but, taking all the phenomenal stuff into context, it sounds like a tool of the devil. What's your opinion on this?

Now, don't say my dad is wrong. He may be, but that's not the point. I listened to "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen in reverse and I picked up "It's fun to smoke marijuana". I told my dad about my findings and he said doing something like that is the devil's work. I read various articles about backtracing and reverse speech. (At least I think it was called "backtracing".) It's kind of bothering me and I wanted some more information on this "phenomenon", as I have the temptation to go through all of my digital media (audio and video clips from my camera, and all my music) to find subliminal messages.
