I know this is far fetched... but do you think it is at all possible that terrorist ( who are vey smart & patient people ) could have poisoned the wheat in china ( that tainted our pet food ) maybe they didnt know that it was going to be used for pet food only that it was bound for the US ( see told ya it was crazy but still it was a thought )

I also believe they could have tainted the spinach last year with E-coli.

It's called greed. A wheat crop got sprayed with poison to stop rats from eating it in a warehouse that was not rat proof and cheap. The wheat was sold without any info on the poison because it was cheap to a firm that made Gluten which would mask the poison. A firm in Canada had a chance to buy Gluten cheap and push up their bottom line profits and didn't test the Gluten. American Pet food distributers had a chance to make a bit more on the products for two reasons. They got it a bit cheaper and because it wasn't mandated they didn't have to test the pet food for toxins or poisons.
No Terrorism. Just good old bottom line greed.

I think the next terroist attack is going to be HUGE and it scares the hell out of me. So, I don't think they would waste their time on rat poison. But, I do think that your analogy could possibly happen. Just on a bigger scale. Those terrorists are some sneaky SOB's.

Very doubt full that is a terrorist event.
One has to remember foreign country's we import our food products from to not fallow or adhere to the same rules we do.
Example Mexico and South American countries still use DDT on their crops, where the USA has banned these for many years.

they found out that there was rat poison in it but they never found out who did it that is a great idea its good to have ideas like that no matter what they are.

that nonsense , they wouldnt target wheat, they target buses , planes, airports, building, subways , the streets, they use weapons like guns and knives, not poison, for them poison is too weak, they want blood, they like seeing gore.
