"The Bermuda Triangle" by Charles Berlitz lists several doccumented accounts of the happenings in the triangle.
There are probably other books that are more complete.

The Bermuda Triangle is a sailors myth, nothing ever being proven to sufficiently answer their wild accusations. Christopher Columbus was the first person to document something strange in the Triangle, reporting that he and his crew observed "strange dancing lights on the horizon", flames in the sky, and at another point he wrote in his log about bizarre compass bearings in the area.Modern scholars checking the original log books have surmised that the lights he saw were the cooking fires of Taino natives in their canoes or on the beach; the compass problems were the result of a false reading based on the movement of a star. The flames in the sky were undoubtedly falling meteors, which are easily seen while at sea. Many other wild things have been stated, but, once again, never proven.

I have heard alot of things like people on airplanes and ships go into to bermuda triangle and never come back. Like the one famous women went around the world and they don't know what happened to her because she was lost in the bermuda triangle. I was watching a show and the people were looking for sunken boats and airplanes in there and found 3 planes together (not much apart) when they were only looking for the womens airplane. Lots of mysterys and no one knows what goes on in there.

Like people before me have said, disappearances of ships and planes, people that make it through report strange sights, and people have had their compasses go crazy. People don't know what the hell makes this kinda stuff happen, which makes people pay even more attention, most not even really caring that it's happening, just wondering what MAKES it happen.
