As I hiked along the heights of Loch Ness a revelation suddenly came to me - if there ever was a "Nessie" - she would surely be dead by now.
p.s. Isn't it funny how people who say the same thing as I do not get a thumbs down?

Probably not. There can't be just One Loch Ness Monster. There would have had to be at least two alive in the Loch since it was formed millions of years ago for there to be any alive today. If there were two, there would have probably been many more than two because thats the way reproduction works. Since there aren't a lot, obviously, there probably aren't any. But it is very hard to prove a negative, so there could be.

I believe it's a kind of ancient dinosaur, because they had found a very rare species fish, very large in the lake. But these are the stories around 50yrs ago, the monster would have been dead by now.

I would like to believe it did exist, however with modern technology, they should have found something by now.
