Are the different dialects among Arabic-speaking countries like New York/Texas(minimal difference), Britain/U.S.(quite a few differences), or like a completely different set of phrases, words, and sounds?

Rather than, say, 3-letter or 5-letter words? Is this just an accident of evolutionary development of the language or is there some underlying logic to it?

I can't seem to find a large selection, just the odd one or two. I've looked on Amazon and they keep giving me adult books. I'd like to find a large collection of titles that I can order.

Alternatively, I would be very grateful if someone can reccomend a foreign book or translation that deals with the subject of death, whether human or animal. The title and author would be a great help.

Many thanks

I heard on a Radio Bristol show a couple of years ago a poem making regular use of Bristolian's distinctive trailing 'L' - words that end with 'a' typically attract an extra 'L'.

(So Bristolians live in 'areals' rather than 'areas' and have a great many good 'ideals' rather than 'ideas'.)

I'd love to get hold of a copy of the poem.

In the Malay language, HIjab or headscarf is also known as "tudung". I googled and found that in Indian "dupatta" is the Indian equivalent of a headscarf. What is the Hijab called in other languages/countries?
