The poor standard of English usage, especially by Americans, on the Web is concerning. This may be due to the SMS texting culture, the low average age of internet posters or simply a dropping of language standards.
Do you have an opinion on this?

I came across a review of the band "Rammstein" where the author noted the lead singer's rolled R's. She made the point that the teutonic accent has rolled R's, and made connection about Hitler's affection for "old school" teutonic society. From her tone, I suspect it's a simple leap made by a dis-liker of the band. I speak German with rolled r's. Mostly due to my Bavarian grandparents, and polish/austrian teacher My question is this: How is this inflection looked at by other germans? As old school,? high/low class?

I am from India. I know the English language very well. All I want is to learn to speak English in the way the Americans do - in Amercan accent. So Please give me some techniques regarding the same.

I know a few of the techniques already, like:
1. Roll the R's
2. Bite the lips for v's

Can you help me out with the rest (explaining them in detail)...

My spanish isn't too great. I have a friend who I chat with in Spanish. Quite often he says this - "tal y como me dijo el doctoc para mi cura". From my translation it seems to mean As the doctor told my priest. Huh? Is this right? Is this slang or an expression that means something else? When I ask what it means he usually translates the line right before this. I was thinking maybe it means something like "it's the truth". Not sure...

One more translation ? is what is "ceridas"? In the song Te Busque(nelly furtado) part of the chorus says " Sanando las ceridas de mi corazon" - Cured the ? of my heart. I'm thinking pain or hurt, but would like a confirm.
