okay, when you just write. 'spanish.' or just one word, why would you think that this would have any influence in the decision at all?

alright...i don't plan on taking spanish as my fourth foreign language...it's supposed to be number five. so what would seriously be a help down the road when considering i'm 'language-ly inclined' (as in learning languages comes easily to me)?

Both Chinese and Arabic are exceedingly difficult in comparison to Romance languages, owing to the fact that you're looking at an entirely new system of writing in addition to language acquisition. In addition, Chinese is vastly different from western language in that pitch/accented syllable/tone can alter the definition of a word.

Japanese may be slightly easier than Mandarin or Arabic. But if you have the time, inclination, patience, and knack for languages...I'd go for Mandarin.

Edit: Mandarin would offer many advantages, seeing as the Chinese government has begun embracing many aspects of free enterprise. There's lots of business brewing in China, and if you can speak the language you'd be an asset to any international corporation looking to do business in a monstrous market.

Arabic is easier than Chinese, but Chinese is more lucrative. Chinese is all about the Symbols and the Tones, whereas Standard Arabic is a literary language which nobody speaks in real life, they speak in national dialects which are as different from each other as Scots or Jamaican is from Standard English.

You don't need to take a class in Spanish if you speak French and Italian, you can teach yourself casually.

Go for Mandarin. China is not only a super power, but Chinese people are more likely to communicate in a reasonable manner. I think that it would also provide more of a phonetic challenge for you. Something waaaay cool that will open your eyes to a whole other way of thought (depending on how far you get with it).
