My spanish isn't too great. I have a friend who I chat with in Spanish. Quite often he says this - "tal y como me dijo el doctoc para mi cura". From my translation it seems to mean As the doctor told my priest. Huh? Is this right? Is this slang or an expression that means something else? When I ask what it means he usually translates the line right before this. I was thinking maybe it means something like "it's the truth". Not sure...
One more translation ? is what is "ceridas"? In the song Te Busque(nelly furtado) part of the chorus says " Sanando las ceridas de mi corazon" - Cured the ? of my heart. I'm thinking pain or hurt, but would like a confirm.

If he is not, also there is a words game. In Mexico, the boys say that when they see a pretty girl with a nice body and they like her, so they mean that she is what they need to feel good, that they would like to be with her.
About 'ceridas' the correct word is 'heridas' in spanish the h is mute, so it says 'sanando las heridas de mi corazon', you are right, heridas means wounds.

"Just what the doctor ordered." is how I would translate it.
The wording is a little strange in Spanish too, but cura also means cure, so literally it would be "just what the doctor told me for my cure."
The Nelly Furtado lyric is a mistake, it should be "sanando las heridas de mi corazón," or "healing the wounds on my heart"

Cura is to heal, comes from curar which means to heal a sickness, a wound, a broken heart, etc.
It is also used when one talks about a Priest - he is el 'cura' and the use comes from people going to the Priest to get 'healing',
As for Nelly Furtado's song, she is saying
"Healing the wounds of my heart, or Healing my heart's wounds.
Las heridas = the wounds, but since the h is mute in this sentence, it sounds = laseridas.
So I'm confirming you are correct, her heart is in pain, she hurts.

"Cura" is priest but also heal, cure.
Cura = Sacerdote = Priest.
"Sanando las ceridas de mi corazón" The correct word is not "ceridas"; it's "HERIDAS" "Heridas" ("herida" in singular) are wounds. So...
"Sanando las heridas de mi corazón" means: Healing the wounds of my heart.

The other word is no "ceridas" it is "heridas" that means "wounds", See, the correct Spelling and Grammar of that verse is: "Sanando las heridas de mi corazón"

What your friend said is "this is what the doctor told me for my cure".
As for "ceridas", I'm not sure you are hearing the word correctly I would have to hear the song or see the words written to know.
