Thanksgiving

I know it sounds mean, but my family just sits there and complains, bitches, makes fun of others and and makes it a awful day, so I told them I had to work the day after and just couldn't make it, I love it and am making my own dinner, I did wish them well, happy thanksgiving to all.

Here I am an adult. Every Thanksgiving I serve cranberry sauce and no-one eats it or even likes it....even me. But I do because it's "tradition". This isn't ment as anything bad at all. Just curious as to what you do just for the sake of "tradition". Giblet dressing? Anything?

I say that ham, mashed potatos, cranberry jello, and greenbeans for thanksgiving just isnt right. They say its more than enough. I happen to be bringing dumplings, broccolli casserole, greenbeans, stuffing, pies, deviled eggs, and rump roast. I say they should wait another half hour until we arrive they want to eat already what to do and who is right.

What are you thankful for? I am thankful for my wonderful husband who spent last Thanksgiving in Iraq, he is home and safe with us this year. I have three amazing boys and am pregnant, (hopefully with a girl) and have a home and warmth and food, a lot of people are not as lucky as me. Have a great day everyone.
