Reds can overpower turkey.

I recommend a nice Rhiesling, or perhaps a good Pinot Grigiot.

Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are pretty safe, if not too inspired.

Cheap wines can lack in body and flavor, while expensive wines may not be suited to the casual wine taster.

Ask at the wine and liquor store, if you still have that opportunity.

The most important is whatever you like to drink! Most serve a white wine with poultry, but rose is very nice.
