My bf went to his family's dinner and I am staying home because I had my wisdom teeth removed recently. I'm really depressed and there's no food in our house. What can I do??

Gerber baby food would be best for you.

Call your bf and ask if he can bring you home a plate as soon as possible, at least you'll have something to nibble on while he is away. If he's gone long distance, maybe your nearest soup kitchen, or ask your neighbor. If you have any cash order out if any pizza places or open, if not drive to a gas station, they are open and they have food items. Some grocery stores are open untill around 6 or so. Next time an emergency happens, maybe try to plan your meals out better.

Good luck to you.

Sorry to hear of your wisdom teeth and your being alone on Thanksgiving. Idea for food...call a pizza parlor...I think their open today. They usually have other food besides pizza that would not be of pain to your teeth (i.e. pasta dishes, soup, treat of dessert) call and ask what they have. How bout calling your boyfriend and ask him to sneak some 'soft' food over to you. If none of these ideas work...take it as a day to just do a food ~ fast ~ and spend the day emotionally pampering yourself though a t.v. program, music, reading, surfing net and keep sipping some beverage all day (tea, juice etc.) Remember what your thankful for that you have dental coverage that you can get your teeth attended to, that you have a warm home to reside in, that you have a boyfriend...take this quiet day for yourself to reflect, appreciate and be thankful for what you do have. Smiles to you.

We have plenty,1/2 our guests just canceled, come on over!

Sorry about your wisdom teeth, my daughter had a hard time when hers where pulled.

Find a good movie to watch! Ice cream or smoothies are great. Can you drive to get some?

Hope you feel better soon. I am sad that some of our guests can't make it but I need to remember to count my blessings.
Maybe that will help you as well, to make a list of what you are thank full for!

Make it a blockbuster day and eat some ice cream or jello. Some stores will be open until about 2pm or so. Ask the boyfriend to bring you back mashed potatoes or stuffing (the soft stuff). Hope you feel better!!

Well my brother recently had his wisdom teeth removed, and he only ate cottage cheese and slim fast shakes while he was recovering. Thats an idea.. or something soft.

Don't you have neighbors? Make a phone call and buy some flowers...visit a friend's family!

May God give you the wisdom you need!

order some food from a restaurant that is open. see if they can deliver it. order things that are soft like soup. if they are not delivering pick it up. option 2 is going to the grocery store and buying what you want. option 3 call your boyfriend and ask him to bring you a plate home.

Go to the corner convenience store, if open, buy a bag of comfort food and put on your favorite DVD.
